Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting an inclusive public sector organisation that are currently seeking a HR & Organisational Development Lead join them on a Temporary basis until next July.
This role will be based in Derby and offers hybrid working following probation.
The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate between £21 to £23 per hour, plus holiday pay.
As a successful HR & OD Lead, you will be responsible for;
- Supporting the Head of HR & OD, in reviewing current processes/practices/systems, ensuring these align and reflect the businesses strategy
- Enabling the current team to provide high quality advice, guidance and coaching to managers/stakeholders surrounding HR policy, performance management and OD
- Fostering good employee relations between stakeholders and managers
- Step in for the current HR Manager when required
The ideal HR & OD Lead will have experience in the following;
- HR & OD Management within a large organisation (ideally public sector)
- Designed and implemented Organisational Development strategies in line with best practice
- Worked with trade unions to achieve staffing changes
- Coaching HR & OD professionals
