A highly regarded investment bank is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its London office.This is a newly created role, created as a result of continued growth and investment in the HR function.

Your New Role
As HR Advisor, youwill support the delivery of a comprehensive HR service across the employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and employees to provide commercially focused and proactive HR support.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing visa and immigration matters, including sponsorship requirements and right-to-work compliance.
  • Supporting with a range of employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and absence management.
  • Advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Supporting performance management and annual HR processes.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR data.
  • Assisting with HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Producing HR reporting and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Contributing to a positive employee experience and strong organisational culture.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Previous HR Advisor/ Generalist experience within financial services, banking, investment management or another regulated environment.
  • Strong employee relations experience.
  • Knowledge of UK visa sponsorship and immigration processes.
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Available on a notice period of one month or less.
