What's the role?Provide expert HR advice and support to managers, employees and wider stakeholders on a range of HR matters, including performance, absence management, employee relations and policy development. Manage and deliver HR administration support for business areas. This is a key role in supporting HRBPs combining the implementation of HR strategy that aligns with The organisation's objectives and delivering first class operational support. Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all HR-related queries, providing timely and professional responses.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policy. For example, performance/talent management, absence and employee relations.
- Support HRBPs with investigations and disciplinary process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and legally compliant.
- Manage the onboarding (including induction for new managers) and probation process for new hires, ensuring all documentation is completed, right to work compliance and inductions are conducted effectively.
- Maintain and update the induction material to reflect changes in the business.
- Advise on any probation concerns raised and supporting managers with extension process.
- Assist in the administration, training and completion of the performance management (PDR) process.
- Work with HRBP to identify training and development needs through talent review process and support the coordination and completion of relevant training.
- Support managers with performance management issues, through informal and formal stages.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including contracts and files.
- Responsible for HR system accuracy (sage) and monthly reporting. Coach HR Administrators.
- Coordinate and manage Occupational Health provision, across the organisation. Ensuring we are tailoring requests to specific absence circumstances.
- CIPD Level 5 or higher
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail

- Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist role
- Experience in managing employee relations issues and performance management processes
- Experience of HR software and systems (e.g., Sage HR) and track record of maintaining accurate dat
