HR Advisor (Temporary Contract - Winsford)
£17.85 per hourFull-time Immediate Start On-site in Winsford
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to support a busy HR team on a temporary basis. This role provides hands-on support to managers across a full range of HR activities, including employee relations, policy development, organisational change and people data insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice to managers on absence, performance, recruitment, promotion and workforce planning.
- Support HR casework-including sickness management, grievances, disciplinaries and capability-ensuring fair and consistent handling.
- Coach and upskill managers in applying people policies and best practice.
- Contribute to ongoing development and review of HR policies, procedures and frameworks.
- Assist with organisational change initiatives, team reviews and restructures, ensuring clear communication and smooth implementation.
- Analyse people data to identify trends and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments such as Occupational Health, Finance and Legal, as well as external partners, to support effective HR delivery.
- Support the delivery of training sessions for managers alongside L&D colleagues.
- Take on additional HR project work as required by senior HR leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
- Strong background in managing employee relations from start to finish.
- Confident in coaching managers and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
- Excellent knowledge of HR policies and ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.
