Housing Assistant

Up to £28,000 basic + mileage

Monday - Friday, 9-5:30pm

Fully remote with occasional sight visits

Own vehicle is essential

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who, alongside the key criteria below, will sign up to their values of Trust, Respect, Involve, Challenge and Deliver Excellence and will be determined to maintain the confidence of our clients and communities.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the void process including advertising properties, arranging void inspections, attending move out/move in appointments and settling new customers into their homes ensuring they are provided all relevant information.
  • Assist the Property Manager in managing the administration of the client's customer portal.
  • Respond to housing management queries ensuring high quality responses are provided to Customers and clients.
  • Support the Property Manager with all required block inspections and site attendance.
  • Manage the incoming repair cases logged on the system. Lead on the review of cases and raising of repairs for the rented properties, alongside the Property Managers.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is at the forefront of all interactions and assist with successfully onboarding residents to their new homes.


Key Requirements

  • A good understanding and knowledge of affordable rent unit management, residential lettings and the property industry
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and current practice
  • Excellent health and safety knowledge
  • Excellent IT skills (Word and Excel)
  • Be able to perform a whole range of housing management functions including voids, sign-ups, estate inspections and reporting repairs.
  • Full driving licence and own transport (Mileage claimed back).
