Permanent, full time position - 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness within the care home.
• Work closely with maintenance and management teams to maintain well looked after rooms.
• Lead by example; vacuum, mop floors, polish and maintain communal areas and resident bedrooms.
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rota and training.
• Ensure housekeeping and domestic items are stocked and replenished.

Qualifications

• Experience in a housekeeping role, delivering high standards and an organised environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise and delegate tasks.
• Approachable, caring nature with willingness to get to know residents and work with other teams.
