Housekeeping Supervisor - Ashley Park Care Home, The Street, West Clandon, Guildford GU47SU

Salary: £13.40 - £14.40 per hour (depending on experience).

Permanent full time position - Mon-Fri, 37.5hours.

Responsibilities

• Always ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the home.
• Work closely with the maintenance and management teams to ensure every room is well looked after.
• Lead by example, vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure upkeep of all communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
• Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants.
• Manage staff rotas and provide training when required.
• Ensure all housekeeping and domestic items are in stock or replenished accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in a housekeeping role, completing work to high standards and taking pride in maintaining an organised environment.
• Strong communication skills, able to confidently lead and motivate a team to deliver the best service.
• Capable of working independently, prioritising and delegating tasks amongst the team where necessary.
• An approachable and caring nature, enjoys getting to know residents and working closely with other teams.
