Housekeeping Supervisor

Overview

Sanctuary Students provides safe and secure accommodation to thousands of students around the country. We work with universities to provide cost-effective facilities management and support services, and offer purpose-built accommodation across the UK. This temporary role supports the accommodation site in Glasgow during the summer period for conferences, summer schools, and public bookings.

Housekeeping Team Leader

Temporary Position from June to September

Kelvinhaugh Residences, Glasgow G3 8NH

£13.16 per hour

30 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting the housekeeping team as well as managing sub-contractors such as wardens and grounds maintenance
• Undertaking checks and audits and producing written reports to ensure all areas are well maintained
• Preparing staff rotas and cleaning schedules to meet the needs of the customer and the business
• Maintaining relationships with internal and external customers ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
• Identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
• Assisting the housekeeping team with additional support in the cleaning and maintenance of communal areas and void properties as required
• Information and requirements will be provided on the day
• Short interviews may be held at the open day
