Job Description:Housekeeping AssistantLocation: Shockerwick House Care Home, Lower Shockerwick, Bath BA1 7LLContract: PermanentHours: Full Time and Part Time positions availableSalary: £13.30 - £14.30 per hourCQC rating: GoodCarehome.co.uk rating: 9.8 / 10This role requires you to have your own transport due to the homes locationShockerwick House is an historic building that has been lovingly converted into a care facility, offering nursing and residential care, convalescence, palliative, short stays for a minimum of one week and day care.The home is located on the outskirts of Bath's World Heritage Site. The magnificent 17th century house is set in twelve acres of wheelchair friendly gardens, with an orangery and vegetable plot. The beautifully appointed rooms offer plenty of areas for residents to relax or socialise in. The home has a secure entry and exit system and a 24-hour call system so that residents feel safe and secure. Our care home is a place where every detail counts, and our team work together to ensure our residents feel right at home.You'll help us make health happen by:You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staffAlways ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident's bedroomsYou'll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you goKey Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
