Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: 50 hours per week

Schedule: 5 days per week (weekend work on a rota basis)

Role Overview

A fully staffed UHNW household in West London is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Laundress to join their established team. This is a hands on role within a professional housekeeping department, requiring a candidate with strong laundry expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain the highest standards across all areas of the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • General cleaning, tidying, and organisation of the residence
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout
  • Ensuring all areas are consistently well maintained
Laundry & Wardrobe Management
  • Full laundry care including washing, ironing, and steaming
  • Expert handling of fine fabrics and haute couture garments
  • Wardrobe organisation and management to a high standard
  • Ensuring all garments are cared for appropriately and returned in pristine condition
  • Working as part of an established housekeeping team (4 housekeepers, 15 staff in total)
  • Following household procedures and maintaining consistency in standards
  • Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth day to day operations
Working Hours
  • Shifts typically 07:00 - 17:00 or 10:00 - 20:00
  • Breaks taken throughout the day
  • Staff meals provided
Flexibility of Role
  • Working hours and duties may vary depending on household needs
  • Flexibility is essential to support the smooth running of the residence
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within UHNW private households
  • Proven expertise in high level laundry care and garment management
  • Experience working with delicate fabrics and designer clothing
  • Fluent in English preferred (Russian language skills highly advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Team player with experience working on a rota system
  • Professional, discreet, and highly reliable
