Housekeeper

Job Title

Housekeeper - Exeter Hospital - Permanent contract - £25,038 pro rata (27 hrs per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare rooms, wards, and common areas according to hospital cleaning protocols.
• Remove waste, collect and manage linen, and perform deep cleaning tasks.
• Plan and organise work schedule with Heads of Housekeeping to ensure minimal disruption to patient care.
• Work closely with the Infection Prevention team - report any incidents or concerns.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant, and safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, motivated, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cleaning processes and safety procedures (preferred).
