Templeton House Care Home in Ayr provides exceptional care for up to 69 residents in a picturesque and peaceful setting. Designed to feel like a true home, it combines warmth and comfort with modern amenities such as a cinema room and an on-site hair salon. With a superb carehome rating of 9.9 and Care Inspectorate grades of , and 5, Templeton House is proud to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports dignity, comfort, and wellbeing.

We are now looking for a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our friendly team. In this vital role, you will help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment where residents can feel at home. Your attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards will make a real difference every day.

What We Offer

• £12.21 per hour
• 22.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG, Pension scheme, Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your RoleAs a Housekeeper, you will take pride in ensuring all areas of the home are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. You will carry out general cleaning duties, care for furniture, fixtures and fittings, and ensure sanitary areas are always hygienic and well-stocked. You will also assist with laundry services, handling residents' personal items with care and respect, while adhering to infection control and health and safety procedures. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll contribute to creating a warm, homely environment that enhances the comfort and wellbeing of everyone who lives and works in the home.

What We're Looking For

• A reliable, hardworking attitude with excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to follow infection control and health and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or domestic work is desirable but not essential
