Hourly Paid Lecturer in History

£50.75 per direct hour, this includes 2 or more of the following elements: teaching, preparation and marking of the scheduled programme of work.
A flat rate of £20.72 per direct teaching hour will be paid for completing one of the above elements of the schedule.

About the RoleThis role will involve supervising undergraduate Research Projects in Modern British, Irish and American History. The postholder will be an academic with experience of supervising undergraduate research, advising on secondary and primary sources, research methods and diverse forms of output across a range of themes and topics. The postholder will also have the experience and ability to teach on undergraduate programmes in history. An ability to contribute to teaching in Politics or Sociology is desirable.
Note. This is a zero hours contract and we do not guarantee that hours will be offered in any given academic year.
