Job Description
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 per week

A co-educational independent day and boarding school in Wellington, Somerset, catering to pupils aged 3 to 18. The school serves 800 students and teachers, with 220 boarders. The catering services include breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, after-school clubs, dinner, house supplies, and boarding treats. This is a 52-week contract due to the high volume of hospitality, conferencing, and events at this location.

This is a 7-day operation, so the working pattern would be 5 out of 7 days.

Set rota published in advance (flexibility required), no split-shifts, promoting a good work-life balance.

We are seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Somerset.

Ideally, you will have previous experience working in a fast-paced catering environment as a hospitality assistant or supervisor.

You will enjoy your work, working with a great team, for a company passionate about food and serving wonderful customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the hospitality operation
  • Attend regular event meetings
  • Support staffing and planning for internal & external events
  • Act as the main point of contact for client & school events
  • Support the team in maintaining high standards, serving customers, replenishing stocks, making hot drinks, and clearing down.

Skills required:

  • Experience in hospitality & events
  • Team player
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Experience in customer service and/or food preparation environment (preferred)
