Job Description
Within the Hôpital de La Tour, the Department of Physiotherapy relies on a team of over 45 physiotherapists and is accredited by Swiss Olympic Medical. It is based on clinical expertise hubs, a strong evidence-based practice culture, and an active commitment to research and quality. Interdisciplinary collaboration is a strong principle of the department, both in hospital activity and physiotherapy. We are recruiting a Hospital Physiotherapist Reference, maximum 12-month contract at 75% with the possibility of a permanent contract. The position is oriented towards hospital activity, with a role as a unit reference within the physiotherapy team. This activity represents approximately 18 hours per week. You will primarily intervene in the medical and orthopedic services of the hospital for general movement physiotherapy (excluding activity). The position combines direct clinical activity with hospitalized patients and dedicated time for development and project initiatives. The remaining activity rate integrates with the other clinical axes of the department and will be exercised based on the profile and skills of the candidate.Clinical mission:- Ensure the provision of general movement physiotherapy for hospitalized patients in medical and orthopedic wards.- Assess functional and motor capacities using validated clinical tools, in line with hospital care objectives.- Design and implement physiotherapy programs adapted to acute and subacute contexts.- Guarantee rigorous, safe clinical practices aligned with the department's quality standards.- Ensure the delivery of general or specialized physiotherapy in another domain, that is rigorous and integrated into the service and clinical standards of the department.- Act as a physiotherapy reference for the concerned care units.- Coordinate the general hospital physiotherapy activities within the team.- Participate in activity management, continuity of care, and communication with medical and nursing teams (doctors, nurses, team leaders).Teamwork and expertise:- Develop and lead clinical projects linked to hospital teams.- Contribute to the definition and evolution of quality standards for hospital activity, closely aligned with other physiotherapists, hub managers, and department supervision.- Engage in scientific monitoring and evidence-based data in the hospital setting.We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:- Swiss X diploma or X diploma recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.- Confirmed experience in hospital physiotherapy (public or private sector).- Strong interest in roles of coordination and development of activity.- Ability to work collaboratively with medical and nursing teams.- Sensitivity to scientific approaches and continuing education.- Teamwork, knowledge sharing, and structured environments.- Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and functional leadership.- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients and their families.We offer:- Maximum 12-month contract, with prospects for evolving into a permanent contract.- Activity rate: 75% (approximately 45% of a full-time role dedicated to hospital activity).- A responsible hospital role with real room for maneuver and impact.- A structured, stimulating, and recognized working environment.- A supportive environment favoring coherence and skills enhancement.- Access to continuing education, clinical research, and therapeutic practices. jid371db55aen jit0207aen jpiy26aen
