Hospital Manager - RMN/RNLD

You will be working full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Please note this role does carry the responsibility of on-call duties as and when required in support of the Service.

Cygnet Lodge Lewisham:

Cygnet Lodge Lewisham is a specialist high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men. Situated in a quiet residential area overlooking a beautiful Lewisham Park, we support 19 men in a homely, open and community facing environment. Our focus is on pre-discharge planning for individuals who may have been in hospital for an extended period of time or are preparing for community life but need further support to move to more independent living. We are able to support individuals who have a range of mental health difficulties.

The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, our Hospital Managers are responsible for providing strong and effective leadership to the onsite team in order to ensure the integrity of all functions within the service, to include; Clinical, Finance, HR, Recruitment and Support Services. You will be responsible for the overall day to day running and strategic direction of the service.

• To be compliant with CQC / regulatory requirements and to ensure all clinical, budgetary, regulatory and service development targets are met. You will also implement risk assessment, risk management and embed clinical and operational governance within the service.
• To be responsible for the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of client care and employee engagement.
• Ensure effective bed management and coordination of referrals and assessments of service user's in conjunction with the Clinical Team.
• In this role, you will also lead on appropriate investigations (as required), participate in audit requirements and ensure all group policies and procedures are adhered to. Reviewing and developing potential opportunities for improved quality and commercial growth is also a key requirement.

We are looking for someone who is

• A Registered Mental Health Nurse
• An experienced and talented and compassionate leader with strong line management & communication skills
• An effective people, time & task manager with a proven track record of working with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care.
