6 sessions (3 days a week) + 1:5 on call per week £41,960 per annum (pro rata of £63,573 per annum) 28/07/2026

In this role, you will provide high quality, evidence based specialist palliative care to patients and their families with care, compassion and dignity. You will support colleagues who are managing palliative care patients both within the hospice and across the borough through the provision of specialist medical advice when needed. You will participate in the on call rota providing 24 hour medical cover for the hospice, including the 24 hour specialist palliative care advice line.

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practice, have at least 2 years' post registration experience, and demonstrate a strong interest in palliative & end of life care.

The role is available on a fixed term basis, working 9am - 5pm 3 days a week (6 PAs) plus 1 in 5 on call.

You will be able to attend the hospice within minutes when on call (driving licence required).

Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the Points Based System. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK in order to be eligible to take up the post.
