Job Description

Who we are Rozela SARL, a passionate startup and forward-looking rose grower, is committed to an ambitious transition to 100% organic and eco-responsible production. Our goal is to combine horticultural excellence with environmental preservation.

Your Mission:

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will play a key role in the ecological transformation of our operation. Your main mission will be to lead and implement our agroecological transition project around three major areas:

- Organic Certification: Manage the entire process of conversion and organic certification for our rose fields (application,compliance, relationship with the certifying body, traceability)Water Management: Diagnose, design, anddeploy a highly efficient irrigation system aiming for a reduction of atleast 60% of our current water usage (e.g., precisiondrip systems, rainwater harvesting, soil moisture sensors).

- Low-Tech Innovation: Research, develop, andimplement low-tech solutions to optimize rose health, control pests, andimprove growing conditions (passive solar greenhouses, innovativemulching, biofertilizers, etc.).

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the organic cultivation of roses (planting, pruning, natural fertilization, care).- Establish and oversee the water management plan and irrigation schedule.- Experiment and validate the effectiveness of adapted low-tech techniques and devices for rose cultivationTrain and sensitize to new organic and resource-efficient practicesMaintain technical and regulatory monitoring on organic horticulture and sustainable resource management.

The Profile We Are Looking For:

- Higher education in Horticulture, Organic Agriculture, or equivalent

- Significant and proven experience in organic cultivation, ideally in a nursery or rose garden.

- Essential technical skills: mastery of organic farming practices and regulations. Hands-on experience in designing, installing, and managing water-efficient irrigation systems. A strong interest in low-tech innovation, DIY, and simple, resilient solutions.

- Personal qualities: autonomy, proactive, rigorous, pedagogical (digital).
