Job Description
Home Findings & Partnerships Officer 
Pay rate - £21.04 Umbrella / £16.62 PAYE
Bristol Council
For the first few weeks you will be fully office based, but following this you will be able to work from home two days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Receive referrals for CYP outlining their interests, wishes and challenges, ensuring the referral is strengths based.
- Engage with potential homes/providers to explore suitability and share options with SW teams.
- Negotiate packages and costs to ensure value for money.
- Understand what a home is offering to support a curious and diligent approach.
- Produce report writing to seek approval for the chosen home.
- Maintain accurate record keeping, including data collection on Excel.
- Collaborate with colleagues from Health and Education to ensure CYP have all they need going forward.

- Organised approach to workload, with daily changing priorities
- Attention to details and accurate record keeping
- Curious mindset, determined and resilient
- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales (or Social Work England)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for a DBS
- Three years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
- 20 years' experience of the Social Work market
- Your local agency based in Cardiff
- Welsh speaking consultant available should you wish to converse in Welsh throughout your job search
- PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available - you choose!
- Dedicated point of contact (support team to cover whilst on leave)
- Twice weekly payroll
- Actively supplying every Local Authority in South/West Wales and South West England
- Refer a friend scheme available
