Home Energy Advisor (Green Doctor) - Carlisle/Workington

Job Purpose

We are seeking a confident communicator to engage with the community, deliver informal training and encourage referrals to the Green Doctor programme. This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the community and deliver informal training.
• Encourage and refer individuals to the Green Doctor programme.
• Undertake assessments of homes.
• Fit practical energy saving measures.
• Offer energy saving advice to residents.
• Operate in an adaptable and dynamic environment, with no two days the same.

Qualifications

Appropriate qualifications in energy efficiency would be useful but are not vital; full in job training will be provided. A strong desire to help people and a passion for making a difference are essential.

Employment Conditions

This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship. The successful applicant must have a pre existing Right to Work in the UK at the time of offer.

Working Hours

Full Time (37 hpw) and Part Time (22.5 hpw) roles available.
