HISTORY TEACHER REQUIRED - STOKE ON TRENT SEPTEMBER 2026 START

Aspire People are currently working with a secondary school in Stoke on Trent who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about History and wants to inspire students to understand the past, develop their analytical skills and achieve their full potential.
THE ROLE
History Teacher
Secondary school - Stoke on Trent
Start date: September 2026
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Teaching KS3 and KS4 History
KS5 experience would be advantageous
Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and creative lessons
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
Potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate
? WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
You should have:
QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching History at secondary level
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for History and education
The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students
A commitment to supporting students to achieve their potential
