Flourish Education are recruiting a History Teacher to work in a welcoming secondary school in Worcester.The school is dedicated to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop a genuine interest in History. This is a long-term History Teacher opportunity starting in September 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year. The role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis and involves teaching History across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). The successful History Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, support student progress and make a positive contribution to the wider school community.
Job Role- Deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Monitor, assess and report on student progress
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and implement school policies
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Support departmental planning and wider school activities
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specialising in History
- Experience teaching History within a UK Secondary School
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently
- A positive and recent employment reference
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
- Long-term History Teacher role from September 2026 until the end of the academic year

- Pay from £174.71-£240.70 per day, equating to £34,068-£46,937 per annum based on working five days per week for a full school year

This Science Teacher role is based in Worcester, with the school easily commutable from surrounding areas including Droitwich, Malvern, Bromsgrove, Pershore, Evesham and Kidderminster. The school is well-connected by public transport and has excellent road links, making it easily accessible for teachers travelling from across Worcestershire.
