Role Overview

As Hire Fitter, you'll work closely with the Hire Department Manager to ensure the fleet is maintained to the highest standard and customers receive exceptional service. You'll bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and a professional approach to every job - making you an essential part of the hire team in Sligo.

At a Glance

• Location: Sligo
• Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hrs/week)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday

What You'll Be Doing Small Plant Maintenance & Service

• Cement Mixers
• Concrete Power Floats
• Plate Compactors
• Poker Vibrators

Electrical & Engine Tools

• Additional responsibilities include:
• PAT testing and fleet readiness checks
• Workshop upkeep - maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment
• Assisting customers with sales queries and providing equipment demonstrations
• Adhering to all health & safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Experience in the plant and tool hire industry
• Solid mechanical/fitter ability across plant, tools, and small engines
• A proactive, safety-first attitude
• Good customer-facing skills and a willingness to go the extra mile
