Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary: up to £65,000.

About the Role:

My client is presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor at a renowned specialist asset maintenance contractor for highways. In this pivotal role within the site delivery team, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for various commercial aspects across a range of projects. Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing commercial procedures and providing support to site teams.
2. Analyzing site records and data to optimize cost control and value recovery.
3. Overseeing subcontract works packages, from pre-tender through to post-contract phases.
4. Skillfully handling subcontract payments, monitoring cashflow, and spend profiles.
5. Collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to comprehend diverse structures, technologies, and their commercial implications.

1. Previous experience in a highways or related field environment.
2. Must have NEC contract experience.
3. Eligibility to work and reside in the UK at the time of joining.
4. Ideally, a full UK driver's license at the time of joining.
5. Experience as a quantity surveyor in a previous role.
