We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant and inclusive school community in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

Working closely with teachers and senior leaders, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and leading learning across a range of year groups.
The Role- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time and short-term absences.
- Work alongside class teachers to plan, prepare and deliver engaging learning activities.
- Provide targeted interventions to individuals and small groups to accelerate progress.
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) where appropriate.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Support wider school activities, educational visits and enrichment opportunities.
- Holds a degree (essential) and has a strong academic background.
- Has experience working with children or young people in a school, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth work setting.
- Has excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident leading learning and managing groups of pupils.
- Demonstrates initiative, resilience and a positive attitude.
- Has high expectations of all pupils and believes every child can succeed.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Graduates considering teacher training or a career in education.
- Experienced Teaching Assistants looking to progress into a Higher Level Teaching Assistant role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
