Job Title: Higher Clearance Administrator

Pay Rate: £187 per day all inc (PAYE through Umbrella)

Clearance Required: SC eligible

Duration: 3 months initially

Location: Telford - Hybrid

Job Description:

Where applicable, Higher Clearance is a contractual obligation for many roles on the Client Market Unit. Efficient management of new Security Clearance applications, renewals, transfers and shares is key to the timely provision of suitably cleared resources for our contracts with Client.

Your role

Working as part of the Client MU Security team, you will be responsible for the accurate management of the Higher Clearance application process, liaising with both internal and external clients.

Prompt and accurate administration of the Higher Clearance process.

Assist applicants and Line Managers in the completion of applications

Respond to Higher Clearance queries from internal and external stakeholders

Accurate record keeping in local tooling.

Maintenance of clearance statistics to monitor clearance approval timescales.

Liaison with internal applicants, stakeholders and the Client Vetting teams.

Attend progress meeting with Client.

Support internal and external audits of clearance status.

Your profile

For this role you will require a high degree of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, have an eye for process improvement and be a proven team player. Understanding of the Higher Clearance process will be gained via in role training and experience. Experience of the Client MU organisation is an advantage.
