About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Vehicle Technician to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent front line services across Gloucestershire. Ubico Ltd is a rapidly expanding local authority owned Company.Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairing, maintaining HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with Compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.
You will need - Full valid, UK Driving Licence (or European equivalent).
- City and Guilds full craft certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working and carrying out inspections, servicing and repairs on a mixed fleet of vehicles and a demonstrable stable employment history within the industry.
- Prepared to undertake additional training to support a diverse fleet as required including technological advances.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
