Our esteemed client in Widnes is recruiting a dedicated Nightshift HGV Technician to join their busy and professional team. Duties
  • Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers
  • Diagnose faults accurately and carry out testing procedures
  • Perform effective, permanent repairs to minimise vehicle downtime
  • Complete warranty, retail, and contract documentation efficiently and accurately
  • Implement preventative maintenance procedures to reduce customer costs
  • Support team members to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and quality standards are maintained
  • Maintain a high level of technical documentation and adhere to manufacturer guidelines
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of work methods and technical specifications through manufacturer training
  • Full UK driving licence; an HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Ability to work night shifts from 8:30pm to 7:00am, Tuesday to Friday
