Our esteemed client in Widnes is recruiting a dedicated Nightshift HGV Technician to join their busy and professional team. Basic salary of £55,000 per annum, with earning potential exceeding £57,000 including overtime and bonuses

Duties

Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers
Diagnose faults accurately and carry out testing procedures
Perform effective, permanent repairs to minimise vehicle downtime
Complete warranty, retail, and contract documentation efficiently and accurately
Implement preventative maintenance procedures to reduce customer costs
Support team members to ensure vehicle safety, compliance, and quality standards are maintained
Maintain a high level of technical documentation and adhere to manufacturer guidelines

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or above in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds or equivalent)
Proven experience in diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial vehicles
Knowledge of work methods and technical specifications through manufacturer training
Full UK driving licence; an HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
Ability to work night shifts from 8:30pm to 7:00am, Tuesday to Friday
