HGV Mechanic/Technician Bristol Full time

KND Truck Services are a family run commercial vehicle servicing company, operating out of our Bristol base we have been established for nearly 15 years, having built a large portfolio of clients from a variety of service & delivery sectors we are actively expanding the business. We have renovated a 12,000 ft site with 8 work bays, stores and a separate lunch area, in order to fulfil our growing demand we are actively recruiting for an additional HGV technician on a temp to perm contract.

Roll and Requirements

Working on both key accounts and ad-hoc contracts your primary duties will include but will not be limited to, safety inspections, MOT preparation, brake testing, multi vehicle diagnostics & where required attending breakdowns. You will be working on a wide range of vehicles. Primarily HGV's including Tractor units, trailers, car transporters & tippers, but we also deal with vans, minibuses & horse boxes along with most things in between. There will also be a requirement to carry out welding & fabrication on both ferris & non ferris materials, although not an essential requirement.

In return we are offering a permanent position, after a 3 month probationary period. This will consist of a 45 hour standard working week with overtime available, including most Saturdays, usually working up until lunch time.

A HGV license is desirable but not essential
