Reporting to the Garage Supervisor, the purpose of this role is to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the company's fleet through expert maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy vehicles and associated equipment. The Heavy Vehicle Mechanic plays a key role in maximising fleet availability, maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards, and supporting the overall performance of transport operations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to quality workmanship, and effective collaboration within the maintenance team to deliver vehicles that are fully service-ready and meet company and regulatory expectations.
