Are you looking for a new opportunity in a driving role? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Distribution team as a Night Shift HGV Driver on a 5-month fixed-term contract, supporting our store fulfilment operation from our Killingworth Distribution Centre.

About the role

As a Night Shift HGV Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting Fenwick's store fulfilment operation, ensuring stock and deliveries move efficiently between locations. This 40-hour per week fixed-term opportunity is based at our Killingworth Distribution Centre, where you'll be responsible for operating articulated vehicles on scheduled trunking routes and supporting the wider distribution network through planned and ad hoc collections.

You'll undertake vehicle swaps with our northbound driver, complete thorough vehicle safety checks, and maintain clear communication with operational teams to ensure activity runs smoothly throughout the shift. Working to high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism, you'll help ensure our stores receive the stock and support they need to deliver a great customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable HGV driver who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is committed to delivering a safe and efficient service.

What we are looking for in a candidate
  • A clean HGV Category C+E driving licence
  • A minimum of 12 months' HGV driving experience
  • The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
  • A professional and safety-focused approach
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • A reliable and flexible attitude
