HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver

Manpower UK is seeking an HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver for a temporary-to-permanent position in Uxbridge, paying up to £19.00 per hour. The role involves operating a road sweeper across customer sites in London and the surrounding areas. Duties include sweeping roads and construction sites, cleaning gullies and drainage channels, performing daily vehicle inspections, and upholding safety standards. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, with overtime available. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and demonstrate a commitment to health and safety. What You'll Be Doing

• Operating a HGV Class 2 road sweeper safely and efficiently.
• Sweeping roads, construction sites, and site access routes.
• Cleaning road gullies and drainage channels when required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Completing relevant paperwork and adhering to transport regulations.

What We're Looking For

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence. Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Waste management, recycling, or environmental services experience is highly desirable.
• Applicants with backgrounds in waste collection, skip, tipper, dustcart, drainage, road sweeping, or construction support services are encouraged to apply.
• Experience operating road sweepers, left-hand-drive vehicles, construction plant, or carrying out gully cleaning and site services work is advantageous but not essential.
