About the role

HGV Class 2 drivers are sought for a full-time, permanent contract in Normanton, offering £38,913 per annum. This night-based position guarantees 48 paid hours weekly.

You will perform multi-drop deliveries, handling seven to ten loads per shift, distributing to dealerships and stores on a fixed three-week rotation.

Duties include loading and unloading cages manually, requiring physical fitness.

A valid Cat C licence, Digital Tachograph Card, and CPC qualification are essential.

Applicants must hold no more than six points, with a clean record concerning DR10, CD10, or IN10 endorsements. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply for this temp-to-perm role.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for our client in the Normanton, Wakefield area - This will lead to a temp to perm for the right person.

Key responsibilities

• Multi drop work between 7-10 per shift
• Delivering to dealerships through the night
• Role involves loading cages onto trailer and delivering to stores through the night
• Same places on a 3 week rotation
• Loading trailor before leaving site / unloading at customer premises

Ideal candidate

• "Can do" attitude Cat C licence holder Physically fit to lift heavy items and take to required location
• No DR10's
• No CD10's
• No IN10's - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
• New passes welcome
