HGV Class 1 Night Drivers

Looking for a Class 1 night driving role that offers straightforward trunking work and dependable hours? We're recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy transport operation, providing ongoing night shifts with a consistent workload and optional weekend overtime.

As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll be completing trunk runs between distribution centres across the UK. With a maximum of three runs per shift, this role is focused on efficient, long-distance driving rather than busy multi-drop deliveries. You'll also be responsible for confidently handling and unloading double-decker trailers as part of your duties.

Duration: This is an ongoing, temporary role

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You can earn between £16.00 and £20.00 per hour, depending on your chosen payment method.Working through PAYE, you will also accrue up to 28 days' holiday per year, pro rata.QS Recruitment is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday night shift position with start times between 18:00 and 20:00. Optional weekend shifts are also available for drivers who would like to increase their weekly hours and earnings.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence, along with a valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card. Applicants should be confident handling and unloading double-decker trailers and have at least six months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
