HGV Class 1 Night Drivers - Immediate Start

Due to our most prestigious customer securing a new contract, they are now further expanding their operations. Therefore, Ultimate Workforce Ltd is seeking 3x additional experienced Class 1 Night Trunking Drivers for consistent, long-term assignments.

The role involves running a loaded Double Deck trailer to their central hub in Burton-On-Trent to tip, reload and return back to the depot.

We offer immediate starts with year-round work available, providing reliable and ongoing opportunities for professional drivers.

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday £16.47 to £18.46

Duties:
Complete daily pre-use vehicle checks
Raise vehicle defect reports in line with internal procedures
Ensure load(s) are sufficiently secured before transit
Transport various goods to and from the customer hub with the use of a double deck trailer
Support reliable and secure delivery performance
Maintain vehicle safety and compliance
Operate vehicle in accordance with EU Tachograph and WTD regulations

Essential Requirements:
Valid HGV (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
6 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
Reliable and punctual when on assignment(s)
Good communication skills
Knowledgeable in the use of ratchet straps and load security
Flexible with a 'Can Do' attitude towards work
Sound knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive Legislation
Maintain a professional appearance and manner while on assignment

Schedule:
Monday to Friday with 18:00 starts and 10-12 hour shifts to be expected.
