HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of a well known and industry leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Hours

Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30 am starts (average finish 6-7 pm)

Pay Rates

• Class 1 PAYE: £15.77 per hour
• Class 1 Rolled Up: £17.67 per hour
• Class 1 ADR PAYE: £16.80 per hour
• Class 1 ADR Rolled Up: £18.83 per hour

Tuxford, NG22.

Job Type

Ongoing with the potential for a perm contract for the right candidate.

The role

• General haulage - palletised goods (no food).
• Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use.
• Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 20 drops/collections).
• Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures.
• Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential.
• Must be 25+ (insurance purposes).
• Maximum 6 points - no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Strong communication & customer service skills.
• Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries.
