HGV Class 1 Driver

Due to the volumes required, we are currently looking for Day shift and tramper drivers for this contract.

A minimum of 2 years class 1 experience is required for this role, with at least 3 months of experience with container work to be considered.

Port cards are also beneficial (LGW, FELIXSTOWE, SOUTHAMPTON)

Pay Rates:

Day shifts - £17.50ph

Night shifts - £19ph

Overtime - £19ph (Paid after 10 hours)

Nights out - £27 supplement per shift

All shifts attract a minimum basic 10-hour pay

If hours worked exceeds 10 hours, the overtime rates are then applicable

Requirements:

• Held a class 1 License for at least 2 years.
• No more than 6 points (No DD, DR, IN endorsements)
• Comfortable working up to 60 hours a week when required.
• 3 months experience with container work is essential.
• Polite and professional when dealing with customers / colleagues
• Available for work on weekends as and when needed.

We are looking for drivers to be assessed for this contract ASAP. The assessment will include a theory / practical test, which will last for approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours. These are usually booked for Saturday mornings.

After a successful assessment, we will be able to offer bookings shortly after.
