HGV Class 1 ADR Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 ADR Driver to join our clients team. you will be responsible for collecting/swapping hospital waste bins, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability the manage your own time.

Responsibilities
Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Load the wagon with empty waste bins and deliver to a local hospital, unload and exchange for full bins, drop back at site and repeat.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs of mileage.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly concerning safety protocols.
Assist with the maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly to management.

Experience
Proven experience as a ADR delivery driver is essential.
Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with ADR card and a clean driving record.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members

Hours

4am - 4pm , 4 on / 4 off (finish on job complete)
