At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an HGV 2 Driver to work with a leading company in the aviation catering sector in London. This role involves delivering goods safely and efficiently to key clients, including LNER (King's Cross), Heathrow, and Gatwick, while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Shift Patterns

• Working any 5 days out of 7, with AM and PM shifts.
• Flexibility to work both shifts is required, according to the rota.

Pay Rates

• 18.56 GBP hourly

Essential Requirements for HGV 2 Driver

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
• Able to provide a 5-year employment history
• Eligible to pass a DBS check
• Willing to complete the CO (Cargo Operative) Course
• Must have the right to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements for HGV 2 Driver

• Previous experience in an airport, transport, or logistics environment
• Experience with heavy manual handling and physically demanding tasks
• Good knowledge of Gatwick Airport and the surrounding road network
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules
• Proactive and reliable approach with a commitment to safety and customer service
