HGV 1 ADR Driver - Environmental Services

Location: Blanford

Salary: £38,000 rising to £40,000 after probation + further review after 12 months

Hours: Monday to Friday (up to 48 hours per week)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

The Role

• Collection and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials using a Class 1 curtain-sided vehicle
• Ensuring all loads are handled, secured, and transported in line with ADR and safety regulations
• Completing relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at collection and delivery points
• Occasional nights out in a sleeper cab
• Manual handling involved, including lifting drums (up to 25kg)

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence - no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, TT, CD codes)
• ADR licence (preferred, but training can be provided)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience in a similar driving role
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
