Overview
Join Bus Éireann as a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. We support training and development to work on all vehicles, including Zero Emission, FCEV, hybrid and electric vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, repair and servicing of heavy vehicles (bus, coach, trucks) and related equipment.
- Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Operate in well-equipped garages with provided workwear and PPE.
- Participate in comprehensive training programs to stay current with vehicle technologies, including zero-emission vehicles.
- Maintain documentation and records as required by the role and Bus Éireann policies.
Qualifications
- Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Construction Plant Fitting qualification, or demonstrable experience working on heavy vehicles (bus, coach or trucks; preferably bus and coach).

- Competitive salary between €40,535.56 - €50,000 (excluding shift pay, overtime opportunities & tool allowance) and Pension.

Additional Information
We can only consider candidates with Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Construction Plant Fitting qualification or candidates with demonstrable experience working on Heavy Vehicles (Bus, Coach or Trucks but preferably Bus and Coach).
