Role Description

This is a full-time Plant Engineer role for Octo Equipment Sales Ltd located with our main location near Swindon, Wiltshire As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance and repair for construction machinery. The role is partly remote on customers sites and part workshop based PDI's and preparation of new machinery. Working closely with the XCMG brand we offer both in house and Factory product training to further both employee knowledge and skills

Qualifications

Experience in servicing and maintaining construction machinery in the workshop or in the field (min 2 years)
A mechanical or plant engineering background
A strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
A valid driving license is essential
The ability to work and communicate effectively within a team
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Effective prioritization skills and the ability to work to deadlines
A willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
