Main duties of the job

The role involves promoting and supporting the delivery of the Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service (IHWS) by:

• Delivering lifestyle behaviour change interventions to residents.
• Leading targeted engagement and outreach activities to reduce health inequalities among Slough's priority groups.
• Participating in promotional events throughout Slough.

The successful candidate must have a clean driving license and be willing to travel around Slough.

Job responsibilities

We are pleased to offer the role of Healthier Slough Engagement and Delivery Officer in Slough. This is a permanent position with a salary range of £28,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.

Person Specification

• Knowledge in a relevant field through education or experience
• Evidence of ongoing professional development
• Understanding of behaviour change models and health inequalities
• Knowledge of CVD impact and information governance
• Experience with safeguarding policies, partnership working, and working with diverse clients
• Leadership experience and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Full clean driving license and own vehicle, with willingness to travel

This role requires a DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
