The Facilities Department is looking to recruit hardworking enthusiastic individuals to join our Cleanliness Service Team at Arrowe Park Hospital.

As a Healthcare Cleaning Professional, you will support the day to day operations of our hospital by maintaining excellent cleaning standards that provide a clean and safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform general baseline cleaning duties, including mopping, vacuuming, damp dusting, cleaning toilets and bathrooms, and serving beverages to patients.
• Work bank holidays as required.
• Carry out specialised cleaning duties such as infection prevention and control cleaning when directed.
• Prioritise workload flexibly and adapt to changes, working in all areas of the hospital as instructed.
• Deliver customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude.

Qualifications and Skills

• Flexible and adaptable approach to prioritise workload.
• Customer service skills; friendly and approachable.
• Reliable with good time management.
• Aware of infection prevention and control practices within a healthcare environment.
• Demonstrate core capabilities and behaviours of the role.
• Passionate about delivering high quality service.
• Cleaning experience desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
