Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education college to recruit an experienced

Health & Social Care Lecturer on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Health & Social Care education, supporting students to develop the knowledge, practical skills and understanding required for further study and employment within the health and social care sector.

Location: Peterborough

Salary: Up to £40 per hour

Contract: Temporary / Full-time

Start Date: Immediately

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Health & Social Care teaching to Further Education students.
• Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons.
• Deliver programmes across relevant Health & Social Care subjects and qualifications.
• Support students in developing their academic knowledge and practical skills.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learner progress.
• Monitor learner achievement and maintain accurate student records.
• Prepare teaching materials, schemes of work and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
• Support students with their academic, personal and professional development.
• Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and other college policies are followed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to provide an effective learning experience.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Relevant experience teaching Health & Social Care within Further Education or a similar educational setting.
• Strong subject knowledge across Health & Social Care.
• Experience delivering engaging lessons to FE students.
• Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
• The ability to assess learner work and provide effective feedback.
• A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their academic and career goals.
• A relevant teaching qualification and/or industry experience would be desirable.
