Health and Social care Lecturer

Location: BirminghamContract: Full-time, Temporary (until the end of the academic year)Rate of Pay: £25-£30 per hour

Reed Further Education are currently supporting a Birmingham-based college in their search for a Health & Social Care Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis until the end of the academic year.

This role is ideal for a passionate and learner-focused lecturer who is able to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and support students to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Deliver and assess Health & Social Care courses across relevant levels
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Support students with their academic development and progression
• Maintain accurate and timely records in line with college requirements

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
• A relevant Health & Social Care qualification
• Experience teaching Health & Social Care within FE or a similar setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
