What are we looking for?

We are incorporating a new INSUDER as Health and Safety Technician at our plant in León.

The challenge!

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001 or equivalent).

Support the monitoring of preventive activities carried out by the External Prevention Service (SPA) and the implementation of the Prevention Plan across different Plant areas.

Participate in occupational risk assessments under supervision, especially in production processes and identified risk situations in the Plant.

Supervise the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection in work areas.

Assist in the management and distribution of personal protective equipment.

Support the coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance related to safety and emergencies.

Participate in accident investigations by gathering information and assisting in the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate in the preparation and updating of safety-related documents, such as safety data sheets and self-protection plans.

Assist in safety training and information for workers.

Collaborate with the Health Surveillance Service and other related areas.

Know and comply with environmental policies and applicable procedures.

Know and observe the premises established in current environmental policy. Know and act as set out in the environmental procedures which apply.

What do you need?

Education: University Degree and specific qualification on Prevention of Occupational Risks.

Languages: Spanish, intermediate English is desirable.

Experience (years/area): +1 year of experience in security management positions, preferably in an industrial environment.

Specific Knowledge: Occupational risk prevention (specialties of safety, hygiene and ergonomics and psychology).

Travels: Nor required.

Personal skills: Good management skills, impact and influence
