You will be working for a well established Public Sector organisation based in London.

Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Specialist to lead the review and enhancement of their existing Health and Safety policies and procedures. This role will focus on identifying opportunities to improve their guidance in line with current legislation and their internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Review and update health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.


  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to incorporate health and safety considerations across all relevant activities.


  • Drive continuous improvement in health and safety standards throughout the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Health & Safety Specialist will possess the following:



  • Proven experience providing specialist H&S support and policy development.


  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.


  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent professional H&S qualification is required.


What's on Offer

  • This is an interim, 3-month role.
  • Competitive salary paying between £50,000 - £60,000 (pro-rated) depending on experience
  • Based in London, with some travel required to regional offices.
  • Hybrid working adopted: minimum 40% presence at the workplace.
