About the Role

We are expanding our Health and Safety team and seek an experienced Health and Safety Consultant to provide high-quality consulting support, helping clients achieve operational excellence through SMS-related services at the Clean Energy Consulting Group. You will support the group in identifying innovative solutions for current and future clients.

Responsibilities include:

1. Delivering services as part of the annual Clean Energy and Consulting Group initiatives.
2. Marketing relevant services of the company.
3. Building strong client relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.
4. Conducting research and guiding clients.
5. Staying updated on legislation, standards, and technical developments.
6. Responding to client requests and proposals.
7. Adhering to Bureau Veritas core values and ethics.
8. Managing projects to time and budget, including resource management.
9. Ensuring the use of technical tools and methodologies to deliver quality work.
10. Providing technical consultancy and drafting documents.
11. Following safety practices on site.
12. Supporting project forecasting and workload planning.
13. Monitoring KPIs and resource utilization.
14. Supporting team collaboration and competency development.
15. Engaging with vendors and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
16. Supporting design and construction from an EHS perspective.
17. Liaising with stakeholders to ensure safety during events.
18. Supporting audits and inspections.

Qualifications

Essential: NEBOSH general certificate or degree in health and safety, plus relevant occupational safety qualifications.

Desirable: Lead Auditor ISO standards, fire risk assessment, ergonomics, human factors, energy industry experience, operational excellence methodologies, resilience engineering, safety culture, and project management methodologies.
