Please note: our hotel is in a very remote location and is not accessible by public transport. Live in accommodation available.

Contract & Working Hours

We offer minimum 37.5 hour per week employment contracts, and we are happy to discuss part time contracts to fit individual schedules. Every hour worked beyond the contracted hours will be paid or given as lieu time.

Role: Head Porter

As Head Porter, you'll lead by example as the first friendly face our guests encounter, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth arrival experience. You'll manage our team of resort porters, coordinate luggage assistance, guest escorts, and upkeep of entrances and public areas to the highest standards. With a strong eye for detail and excellent communication skills, you'll ensure seamless service across all guest touchpoints, providing information on facilities, assisting with transport or deliveries, and working closely with the reception team to uphold our exceptional hospitality standards.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to delivering first class experiences to guests and hotel residents. Attentive with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with guests and hotel team, friendly, enthusiastic, and driven to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.
